Hey can I join this clan? I take screens of all my drafts and sealed, and would love to share my thinking and get feedback. Limited is all I play, I'm quite new and have some posts I could put up already from sealed and drafts for SHM and LLM.
Nice to have someone commenting =) Talk to hatter about an add into the clan, he's online pretty often. I finally finished the event, won ten packs. I made a lot of misplays on the last two matches due to complete exhaustion. Beat the one guy and got excited with the chance to win 20 but my last opponent was very good with an excelent deck - so many tricky blue spells, lots of green white. Seems odd but every single time I've gotten oversoul of dusk out it was worthless. Opponent either had trip noose or multiple green/white critters that wouldn't trade favorably for the dusk, it was insane. Every single opponent I played against was running white, I'd like to try out the red plainswalker next time maybe. I'm beat, take it easy everyone
How did roughshod mentor end up working out, would you have preferred a different large creature in its place? Possibly Old Ghostbark (easy), or grief tyrant (nice with several cards in your pool) if you wanted to splash. You already have 3 splash cards in the deck, so splashing for a few cards wouldn't be too difficult. We talked about all of this in channel though, that and the 1/1 into a more effective combat trick would be a possible idea as well. In the end would you say you were pro steel or anti steel in this deck...i remember you were saying it went hot and cold...albeit very hot when it was hot.
that's quite an unbelievable pool.. if you lost with this, you're the unluckiest man alive. i think an extra plains would be better than the 1/1 flash and i would have gone mono white w/ the two treefolk.
if you are pretty sure you have a better deck than anyone else, you should run 18 mana.
This blog is for notes, gripes, plays, misplays, questions, answers, and observations related to limited play on Magic Online. Specifically, as it relates to members of the clan Limited Understanding.
Please feel free to post and reply to posts. Our clan is only as interesting as we make it. In the end it's not about how many packs we win, it's about helping each other improve over time and enjoying ourselves while we are doing so. To that end, please refrain from personal attacks and non-constructive comments. Criticism can be constructive and is encouraged.
To post messages on this website, I need to put you on the authors list. To do this, msg me on MODO with your email address, and I'll put you on pronto. People that don't do this can still contribute in the meantime by posting replies to the posts of others.
Also, if you can't see something during a trade, click reset.

To save a text deck, load the .dek file from the above path in the deck editor, click save as, then change "Local Deck" to "Local Text Deck" and choose a much easier to find location in which to save it. If you're going to save the .dek file for later use such as the initiative mentioned in the header, I suggest you save that in an easier to find location with an easier to remember name too.

What are the odds of swans, windbrisk and oversoul in one deck. the only unlucky thing is you opened no godheads or shields..
I played against a sealed deck last night with mass mana ramp, oversoul of dusk turn 3, swans, turn 3, (2nd game) and witherscale wurm.
one good thing about power of fire on a leech bonder is it can effectively neutralize a swan, and let you draw an answer for every island you have.
Oh i just noticed the one steel of godhead :P
